You may be kicking off 2021 with a new resolve to watch what you eat, balancing calorie intake with what you burn in exercise. It's a great idea, but you have to be careful how you get your data! In this interview with Business Insider, Svexa's CEO and Co-Founder Mikael Mattsson explains how calorie counters in exercise machines like ellipticals and treadmills often are not very accurate. As well as being CEO at Svexa, Mikael is an author, scientist, coach and athlete who is active all over the world. He has a PhD in Medical Sciences – Exercise Physiology from Karolinska Institutet, and is now conducting his research at Stanford University (USA) and KI and RISE (Sweden).
